Responsibilities
- To answer enquiries in a polite and efficient manner, provide assistance and advice to the public on all manner of issues including lost pets, surrendering of animals, etc.
- To provide medical treatments, animal examination for pending animals with rostered veterinarian following protocols.
- To screen and handle all the surrender application and provide relevant alternative advice to owners if needed.
- To update animal records, contact with various organisations or public and arrange transferring animals internally and externally.
- To provide support to the foster programme.
- To cooperate with all other teams and departments for providing best care to animals.
- To participate trainings or continuing education opportunities to stay updated on best practices in animal care.
- To assist with training of staff and volunteers if required.
Qualifications & Requirements- Completed HKCEE/ DSE or relevant qualifications.
- Good command of written and spoken English & Cantonese, spoken Putonghua will be advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with professional telephone manner.
- Experience in handling animals (preferred but not essential).
- Good PC knowledge including Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing.
- A good team player and be able to work under pressure.
- Able to work on shift duty in different locations so as on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
- Fresh graduates with good potential are also welcomed.
- Immediately available is highly preferred.
