We are looking for Part-Time English Tutors to join our teaching team to support the expanding and growing business and provide our students with quality English education. Successful candidates will be working in a supportive teaching and learning environment and be involved in education projects that can truly make an impact on students’ learning and support them in achieving their learning excellence.
We are looking for suitable candidates to:
- Help develop programmes of learning activities to address different learning needs;
- Keep track of individuals’ learning progress and review teaching materials;
- Assist in the development of learning tasks to close the learning gaps of students;
- Carry out teaching activities for students of various needs;
- Compile teaching materials and adapt appropriate materials according to learning needs;
- Motivate interest in English learning and engage students by using various teaching skills;
- Manage classroom discipline and handle teaching-related duties to ensure smooth centre operation.

Required experience and qualification
- Over 2 years teaching experience and qualifications are preferable. Candidates passionate about teaching students English grammar, reading and writing skills.
- Degree holders or equivalents in English or education-related disciplines with good academic results are highly preferable.
- Attain an IELTS score of 7.5 or above;
- Have good English proficiency, good writing skills, and fluency in English and proficient in Chinese and Cantonese;
- Demonstrate good organisational skills and communication skills;
- Have patience and the ability to manage challenging tasks independently and in a team.
Work Hours and Salary
- The teaching schedule varies depending on needs but it mainly falls into 11-7pm on weekdays and 10-5pm on weekends. Availability on weekends is a must.
- The hourly salary ranges from $160-200, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
