Duties:
a) To initiate and co-ordinate improvement and repair projects, consumable items, tools, musical instruments, sound, lighting and stage equipment for Ko Shan Theatre (KST) complex
b) To support the implementation of latest policy / requirement introduced by the Government, including but not limited to Product Eco-responsibility, the Occupational Safety and Health, etc.
c) To assist in monitoring the performance standard of services contractors, including compliance with contractual obligations and assist work schedules and staff deployment for security, cleansing and horticultural services
d) To oversee day-to-day maintenance of the building utilities and facilities of KST with relevant Government Departments/Offices and their contractors to ensure the facilities are maintained satisfactorily and other service provisions are smoothly carried out
e) To assist in the documentation work, planning and monitoring the work progress of the KST refurbishment projects
f) To assist in organising inter-departmental meetings such as arranging appointments, preparing agenda and taking minutes
g) To manage the daily operation of the Cantonese Opera Education and Information Centre (COEIC) and provide support to guided tours
h) To provide assistance in handling revamp projects for COEIC
i) To coordinate and implement marketing works for Ko Shan Theatre including Venue Sponsorship events at Ko Shan Theatre
j) To act as Duty Manager to ensure the smooth running of activities staged at KST
k)To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers
Requirement:
(i) Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and lawfully employable in Hong Kong
(ii) Have a Bachelor Degree (major in Arts / History / Cultural & Heritage /Communications / Marketing / Building & Facilities Management is an advantage), or equivalent
(iii) Have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note 2] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
(iv) Have a minimum of two (2) years' full-time post-qualification work experience, including at least six months of which should be full-time work experience in the field of performance business / cultural organisations / building management / marketing / event or venue management and operation
(v) Have a minimum of one year of full-time work experience of staff management and be able to schedule duties to frontline staff
(vi) Have a minimum of one year of full-time work experience in customer service and be able to answer enquiries and complaints to general public
(vii) Be proficient in MS Office applications and possess good computer knowledge
(viii)Have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Contract Period: 30 April 2025 - 29 February 2026 (9 month contract)
Working Location: Hung Hom
Working Hour: Normally required to work for 9 hours between 0900 to 2400 on Mondays to Sundays and Statutory Holidays
Salary: $1150/day
